Planners Network and its chapters hold a variety of conferences and events. An International conference is organized every one to five years, giving PN members an opportunity to meet and learn from one another face-to-face. Planners Network also hosts side-events and popular national planning conferences. Finally, Planners Network chapters often hold regional events of interest to students, professionals, professors, and activists.

The 2nd Global Conference “Indigenous Planning Reclaimed” will be held in T?maki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, 21 – 24 March 2027.

This conference builds on the success of the first International Indigenous Planning Conference held in Manitoba, Canada, in 2013. The conference aims to bring together Indigenous planning practitioners, scholars, researchers, tribal representatives, tribal community members, and students working in planning from around the world.

The last conference resulted in the book Reclaiming Indigenous Planning, which influences the title of this conference, now with a recognition that Indigenous Planning is now RECLAIMED.
