Location: UB Center for Urban Studies, University at Buffalo

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000

The UB Center for Urban Studies is seeking a dynamic and skilled Program Administrator to support and advance its mission of promoting equitable urban development and community transformation. Working closely with the Director, the Program Administrator will oversee the Center’s daily operations and play a critical role in managing academic and community-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and lead educational programs for middle school students.
Oversee Frida’s Rebel Garden, including planning, youth involvement, and community engagement.
Supervise undergraduate and graduate students working at the Center.
Manage grants, including budget tracking and reporting.
Assist in writing grant proposals and fundraising materials.
Develop engaging content for the Center’s website and social media platforms.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners on research and development projects.
Provide logistical and administrative support to research teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in urban studies, education, public administration, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated experience in program management, community engagement, or youth development.
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Strong writing skills, especially for grant writing and digital content creation.
