Wednesday, May 30
Evening: Opening Reception & Celebration. 7:00 - 9:00PM

Featuring a presentation from PN Youth Participants, welcoming remarks, jumbalaya, beer and wine, general merriment and more. Pre-registered attendees will be able to pick up name badges and conference packets at this point. Full registration services will be available beginning Thursday evening.

Thursday, May 31
Day: Community-Based Workshops. 9:00AM - 3:30PM

A hallmark of PN conferences, attendees will have the option of choosing from a diverse list of workshops that will put them face-to-face with key planning issues in New Orleans. Workshops are developed in conjunction with community-based organizations and local activists, who act as hosts. Click here for a full description of the workshops.

Times: All WORKSHOPS DEPART AT 9:00 AM. Workshops will last until approximately 3:00pm, and all attendees will be returned to the departure point.

Planners Network is joining forces with local filmmakers and activists to host a raucous evening of independent film shorts from New Orleans and the nation.

Afternoon: PN Annual Meeting. 1:30 - 3:30 PM

Evening: 2007 Lewis Mumford Awards 7:00PM Awards, 9:00 PM music

Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR)'s Mumford Awards, co-sponsored by the Association for Community Design (ACD) and SEED. ADPSR’s annual awards event will serve as both the closing event for the PN conference and the opening event of ACD, ADPSR and SEED’s conference on community design at LSU in Baton Rouge.
