ONE WEEK IN LOUISIANATWO GREAT CONFERENCES

Planners Network is working together with the Association for Community Design (ACD) and Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR) to coordinate events surrounding our two 2007 conferences. Their conference, entitled The Great Gumbo: Stirring the Pot of Community Design will be held June 3-5 at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA.

Our conference committees are working together to share ideas, resources and inspiration, and have scheduled activities so that our many joint members can comfortably attend both conferences. Additionally, we are working to plan joint events, so that attendees who may not be able to spend the entire week can still benefit from this great convergence.

TWO CONFERENCE DISCOUNT!

Register for both conferences, and receive a discount on each one!

The highlight of our collaboration will be ADPSR's 2007 Louis Mumford Awards, to be held in New Orleans on the evening of Saturday, June 2nd. This event will mark the end of one conference and the beginning of another, and honor "people and organizations that exemplify ADPSR’s goals of peace, preservation of the natural and built environment, and socially responsible development." Stay tuned to our calendar of events for more information on the Mumford Awards and other collaborative activities.
